“Dutch” Jamerson strongly believed that we have a responsibility to help people and support the communities where we live. His philosphy has been passed on and the philanthropic tradition of giving continues today.
Each year, J.E. Jamerson and Sons donates to a variety of organizations that expand the educational, cultural, residential, and employment opportunities for the citizens of our community. We also encourage our employees to volunteer for community service.
By giving of our time and talents, the J.E. Jamerson and Sons' team also builds improvements on a personal level, bettering the lives of our neighbors through various efforts. We give back to our communities through monetary gifts, in-kind donations, volunteer hours, and community work. J.E. Jamerson and Sons also works collaboratively with other businesses to impact our community in diverse ways.
We enjoy partnering with other advocates to help build a better tomorrow for our neighborhood families. We are active with the Habitat for Humanity and other building and fundraising projects. We bought land and built “the Wyndhurst House” to financially support Family Alliance and the Family Jubilee Family Developments Center. J.E. Jamerson and Sons also donated the land for the Jamerson YMCA in Lynchburg.
