J.E. Jamerson and Sons offers commitment, value, and experience. We have an long history of providing unparalleled service with quality results.

With experience in millwork and lumber, Mr. James E. "Dutch" Jamerson founded J.E. Jamerson & Sons in 1946 as a building supply company.  His basic business principle was fairness and quality.  He liked to say, "you treat people fair, and expect to be treated fair."  J.E. Jamerson and Sons quickly evolved into a construction company. As years passed and building projects expanded, the tradition of excellence was born. Our success, in part, is because we have always been client-focused and built on fairness and quality.

The J.E. Jamerson and Sons' team embraces opportunities to manage a variety of projects. We build large-scale, complex buildings such as the First Colony Life Insurance building in Lynchburg, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center projects in Blacksburg, and Jefferson Forest High School in Forest, Virginia. We also welcome and enjoy building smaller, more personal projects including, convenience stores, churches and private residences. J.E. Jamerson and Sons is devoted to providing integrity, dependability, and quality workmanship with every project.

We acquire building projects of various size and scope through direct negotiation or competitive bidding. But J.E. Jamerson and Sons is more than a builder; we are your partner in the design and build process. Our team brings years of experience to preconstruction planning, design-build projects, construction management, and renovations.
