Because of the people it serves, a nursing home requires special expertise at every stage of construction. The building must comply with numerous government standards as well as environmental issues, such as the hazards mold and other allergens pose to elder residents. In this particular case, the job was also completed on one of our most aggressive schedules, as its sister facility, The Summit's Continuing Care Center, was already up and running. This was also a unique job for us, because we developed the Wyndhurst neighborhood where the Summit sits.
