The creation of the Hurt & Proffitt office building was really a renovation. But in this case we actually took two buildings and put them together into one. It sounds simple enough, except the two buildings didn't match! First, they were oriented at different angles to the street, turned about 15º apart from each other. On top of that, the floor heights were different. Finally, we were required to keep the business up and running while we did it. The result looks like a brand new building.
