J.E. Jamerson and Sons negotiated with Evergreen Baptist Church to construct their new sanctuary. The sanctuary is highlighted with its high ceiling and oranate woodwork. This sanctuary also includes a formal vestibule and greeting area.
The J.E. Jamerson and Sons’ team created this design-build project with flexible space on a conservative budget. The church was completed in 2005 and the family life center in 2007 which includes a fellowship hall, education wings and gymnasium. An early learning center was subsequently added in 2008.
J.E. Jamerson and Sons assisted in the design and preconstruction phases of this sanctuary addtion and then moved seamlessly into the construction. The church continued operations during construction. One of the most visually striking aspects of the church is the exposed timber construction supporting the tongue and groove wood ceiling. More impressive, the project came in a month ahead of schedule and $50,000 under budget.
Memorial United Methodist Church's multipurpose building was the first addition to the church since J.E. Jamerson & Sons completed the orginial building in 1962. The orginial building was J.E. Jamerson & Sons' first commercial building. This building is utlized for the church's daycare center, youth & adult activities and the commercial kitchen makes it suitable for church socials.
