Building
Merryman, the athletic center at our alma mater, was
a distinct honor for us. But the building did have its
challenges. First, despite its size and the heavy equipment
required, it was situated on a very tight site, leaving
us little room to work. Second, as you can see from
the photos, the building's design incorporated multiple
geometric shapes that were difficult to coordinate.
Finally, the interior featured exposed structural steel,
demanding exceptional craftsmanship. To the right of
Merryman sits the Jamerson Athletic Center, a building
we proudly completed in 1983.
